The Domestic Violence Awareness Outreach has celebrated its signature Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil since 2006 with the support and participation of our life partner, Sistercare Inc.  This program component has bridged the community of domestic violence victims and the faith-based community for over seven years.  

It is our goal to build awareness about domestic violence, its symptoms, needs, and resources among faith based partners, churches, and those who lead faith based agencies.  In 2013, we designed our Education Series which was attended by representatives from local churches, the Department of Mental Health, Sistercare, and domestic violence survivors.
